On Thursday, 5 February 2026, the Kevin Okyere Foundation extended healthcare support to the Children and Maternity Wards of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, Ghana, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility and national development efforts.
.
The donation included food items, toiletries, detergents, sanitary supplies, learning materials, and financial assistance to settle hospital bills for underprivileged nursing mothers and children in the Paediatric Ward. Through this intervention, the Kevin Okyere Foundation provided immediate relief to families facing medical and financial hardship.
.
The items were received by Mrs Doris Avortri, Deputy Director of Nursing Services (Paediatric Division), and Major Barbara Yankson on behalf of the Paediatric and Maternity Divisions, respectively. Both divisions expressed appreciation to the Foundation for what they described as a timely and impactful contribution to patient care.
.

Management of 37 Military Hospital, represented by Lt. Col. Jake Sandow, Director in charge of Welfare, noted that the support comes at a crucial time. As one of Ghana’s major referral facilities, the hospital continues to experience increasing patient numbers and resource pressures. Private sector partnerships, he emphasised, remain essential to sustaining quality healthcare delivery.
.
Speaking during the visit, Kevin Okyere, Chairman of the Kevin Okyere Foundation, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening healthcare systems in Ghana.
.

“Supporting mothers and children at critical moments of care is not just philanthropy; it is an investment in Ghana’s future. Healthcare access directly impacts productivity, stability, and long-term national development.”

The Kevin Okyere Foundation has consistently prioritised healthcare support in Ghana, recognising that public institutions play a central role in safeguarding national wellbeing. By partnering with facilities such as 37 Military Hospital, the Foundation contributes to improving patient outcomes, reducing financial strain on vulnerable families, and reinforcing the capacity of critical medical services.
.
This intervention forms part of the Foundation’s broader healthcare initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery, supporting essential medical infrastructure, and promoting sustainable public-private collaboration within Ghana’s health sector.
