Restoring Hope, Together

The Kevin Okyere Foundation is committed to restoring dignity and unlocking potential across Africa. We believe that true change begins when communities are equipped with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Guided by compassion and driven by action, our work is centered on creating access—access to education, healthcare, and opportunities that build stronger, more resilient futures.

Since 2016, our programs have touched thousands of lives through scholarships, healthcare support, youth empowerment initiatives, and humanitarian relief. Each story of hope and transformation reflects our vision of an Africa where no one is left behind. We are not only meeting immediate needs, but also investing in sustainable solutions that ensure long-term progress.

A Message from

Our Founder

Across Africa, I’ve seen brilliance go unnoticed. Potential left untapped. People, capable, determined people, held back not by a lack of ambition, but by a lack of access. I’ve met young women with the talent to lead but no tools to learn. Boys full of ideas but with no space to grow. Families who work hard every single day, yet remain shut out of opportunity by circumstances they didn’t create…

Kevin Okyere Foundation and Springfield Group Reach Over 600 Pupils with Shoe Donation Initiative

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026 , Kevin Okyere, Founder of the Kevin Okyere Foundation and CEO of Springfield Group, led a joint team from both organisations to Ahwerase in the Akuapem South Municipality of Ghana’s Eastern Region, where hundreds of school children received durable school shoes. . The team began at Ahwerase Presbyterian Primary and Kindergarten, where every single pupil was fitted with a new pair of durable black shoes, in line with the school’s dress code. Starting with the youngest children, the process quickly turned into something more than a distribution—it became a moment of joy. . The excitement was […]

On World NGO Day By Kevin Okyere

Impact often begins quietly, in one moment, with one person, at the exact time they need it most. In August 2018, a young medical student walked into my office looking visibly worried. She had been told to pay her arrears or stop school entirely. We stepped in, and today that same young woman, now Dr Wendy, is part of the medical team at one of Ghana’s most respected medical centres. . Stories like hers continue to remind me why this work matters. None of us chooses where we are born, the circumstances we inherit, or the barriers placed in our path. […]

LASTING COMMITMENT

The Belief Behind Our Work

In Ghana and many parts of Africa, barriers to opportunity are not just circumstantial; they are systemic, long-standing, and deeply entrenched.
Access to quality education remains uneven. Basic healthcare is still out of reach for too many. Families face food insecurity not due to a lack of ambition or effort, but because of widening inequality and the absence of reliable safety nets.

What compels our work is the understanding that real change rarely begins in boardrooms. It starts in classrooms, hospital wards, homes, and community markets. It starts by recognising people not as problems to be fixed, but as individuals with potential, dignity, and promise.

At the Kevin Okyere Foundation, our motivation is rooted in what we’ve seen and experienced firsthand: a child unable to return to school because of unpaid fees. A mother postponing life-saving surgery due to hospital costs. A gifted student held back by lack of access to the resources that could shape her future.

These are everyday realities. And we choose to respond. With urgency, with empathy, and with commitment. Because we believe that every act of support, no matter how small, can move someone closer to the life they deserve.
